Tasks are some actionable steps or to-do's that show who is responsible for what and when

For example, you may be tasked with laying a floor in a new house, and another teammate is responsible for painting the walls. Tasks that it can give you an overview of in Previsto.

Tasks can contain descriptions, files, etc. related to it so that the information is in the right place (and only one place).

Creating new Tasks

There are 2 ways you can create new tasks:

  1. Click on `New task' in the top bar.
  2. Click on an empty date in the timeline.

Other parts of Previsto as well as integrations that use the API can create tasks automatically so you can save time.


Timeline The timeline together with the map in Previsto gives a superb overview of which tasks are planned for whom and where they are to be carried out. You can easily mark tasks as completed or open them for editing.

You can use drag and drop with the mouse to move tasks from one person to another – or from one day to another.
